Feb 19, 2017 – Outrage As Ekiti Governor Fayose Buys 60 Kia Cars For Politicians While Unpaid Civil Servants Are Dying Of Hunger

Troubled civil servants in Ekiti State have expressed outrage as Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose bought 60 news cars for politicians in the state.

The workers currently being owned 6 months arrears of salaries described Fayose’s action as insensitive, dem0ralizing, offensive and wasteful.

They said the purchase of the brand new vehicles was unjustifiable at a time Fayose was complaining that his administration is hampered by paucity of funds to provide basic necessities for the citizenry.

Few days ago, Fayose took his protest to the Ministry of Finance Office in Abuja claiming that Ekiti state is broke.
