Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Breakup Months After Selena Gomez Drama

Singer Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have called it quits after less than a year of dating, E!News reports.

The former lovebirds, who met at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards, broke the news in an official statement via their reps. “Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.” the statement read.

The news of their breakup comes months after photos of Bloom making out with Selena Gomez surfaced on social media. At the time, there were rumours circulating that Katy Perry called off the relationship following the scandal but the Unconditional crooner shut it all down with this tweet:

Perry and Bloom were last photographed at Vanity Fair’s 2017 Oscars After-Party. However, they did not walk the red carpet by each other’s side.
