An opposition politician whose capture by the DSS became a topic of national debate recently, has been set free.
Babatunde Gbadamosi
The State Security Service on Thursday released Babatunde Gbadamosi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party who was arrested last week, his wife said.
According to Premium Times, Sade Gbadamosi said at 1:00 p.m. Thursday that her husband was set free this afternoon.
“We bless God,” she said.
Mr. Gbadamosi was arrested last Wednesday after he honoured an invitation from the SSS.
He was then transferred to Abuja on the same day where he was held until his release moments ago.
