Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, today, March 8, celebrated his birthday as he turns 60-years-old and President Muhammadu Buhari, who congratulated him, calls him a partner and friend in the progress of Nigeria.
The president who has been away in London, United Kingdom in an extended medical vacation, made this known on his Facebook page and Twitter handle.
He said: "60 hearty cheers for Professor Yemi Osinbajo, running mate turned partner in service to Nigeria; and friend. Happy Birthday, Professor!"
Wife of the president, Mrs Aisha Buhari also felicitated with the acting president as he marks his birthday.
In her Twitter handle, she wrote: "On the occasion of the birthday of Your Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, Ag. President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
"I wish to extend my congratulations to you and to state that the years you have spent building your reputation in multiple capacities have today resulted in your ability to carry out your duties in line with the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure that a better Nigeria is realized. Congratulations and Happy Birthday," she said.
